Before you order: Tap material must be compatible with the contents. Brass is unsuitable for diesel exhaust fluid, which corrodes copper alloys. Confirm the application.
Brass is fine for oil and water and wrong for DEF, which attacks copper alloys. Stainless or polymer where the contents demand it.
Draw liquid from a sealed can and it glugs, then stops. A breather valve lets air in so the flow stays even.
The tap turns a portable can into a static dispensing point at a workshop bench, a pump or the back of a truck.
